2016 was a hot real estate market for our area and predictions I'm hearing from several sources are that 2017 will most likely match 2016.  They did not believe we are headed for a "bubble" situation.

I have included below a Trendgraphix report for single family homes in Folsom (95630) so you can see what the stats are for 2016. 

There is some uncertainty as to how the Trump administration will affect the real estate market so I will monitor as we move along in 2017 and keep you posted.

Rates went up in December 2016 but havd dipped in January 2017.  The current rates are still considered historically low. Now is a good time for buyers and sellers to take action as we are expecting the Fed to increase rates three times in 2017.
