The current interest rate for a 30 year fixed rate is at about 3.95% and 3.18% for a 15 year fixed rate. Interest rates are up slightly from a month ago. We have had some favorable economic reports recently and if they continue to improve It is very likely the Fed will move to raise the interest rate after their next meeting in December.
